From these graphs, it is evident that there is an attainment gap between the social class, children who are eligible for FSM have preformed lower in exams then all other children, whether this is down to the labels which are attached to working class children is debatable as there are other factors to consider. However, the correlation between working class children and attainment remains significantly high and one of the main issues in educational inequalities. It can be seen that the gap has been decreasing from figure 1 from 2012/2014, with the issue highlighted and such widespread knowledge on the attainment gap, will educational authorities and the government work towards decreasing the gap even further?
